SOURCING
FROM THE GROUND UP
TDK was formed by a tea industry veteran who understands the business from the ground up. We understand the biological intricacy of the tea plant and know how to optimize it at the garden and elevation level to change and alter taste profiles to match market demands.

All our teas are purchased at the Colombo Tea Auction which is the main regulated authority and system on the purchase of Ceylon Teas, ensuring the highest quality from the best plantations.
Price fluctuations in the tea market creates uncertainty for large and small brands. Private labels and medium to small tea brands are also affected by inflexible Minimum Order Quantities. We are willing to work with you to understand how we can make specific arrangements to tackle these problems.
